Micro hair pigmentation

Micro hair pigmentation

Micro hair pigmentation (scalp) is a pigmentation technique of the scalp performed with the help of a dermograph and needles specially designed for this technique. The objective is to introduce pigment into the dermis in order to recreate a light and natural hair density for both men and women.

How long does it last?

The result of such a procedure lasts between 3 and 5 years before fading considerably. We advise to maintain your pigmentation with the help of touch-ups in order to keep the result longer. Remember that semi-permanent make-up is an ART and not an exact science. Results may vary depending on the client’s age, cell regeneration capacity, the level of pigment used and lifestyle habits.

How long is the appointment?

Depending on the region to be treated and the work to be done, the service can be done in several appointments of 1 to 3 hours each. In general, the consultation is done before the appointment in order to establish the treatment plan necessary to obtain the desired result. During the treatment appointment, the technician will take measurements in order to produce an impeccable drawing that respects the natural frontal line and that will serve as a guide for the treatment. Once this drawing is approved, the technician will begin the pigmentation process.

How long does it take to heal?

The visible healing time is calculated between 7-10 days and 4-6 weeks before the color stabilizes to give way to the final result. Immediately after the appointment the result will be very discreet, do not worry, this is part of the normal process to obtain an adequate result. Afterwards, the pigment will gradually come out to see the desired result.

Does it hurt?

Depending on each person’s tolerance level, some discomfort may be felt. An anesthetic gel can be applied as needed to numb the skin and make the work more pleasant.

Will I need a touch-up?

Following your treatments carried out according to the treatment plan, it is advisable to maintain your hair micropigmentation every 1-2 years in order to keep a natural density and thus avoid having to redo the entire service.

Who is not an ideal candidate for this procedure?

Anyone using anticoagulants, people who are diabetic, pregnant, undergoing chemotherapy or hemophiliacs, as well as anyone with progressive skin disease near the area to be treated or undergoing Accutane treatment.
