How does the appointment work?
The henna service is a relaxing, safe and quick treatment. It is a perfect treatment for all those who would like to eventually pigment their eyebrows but would like to see the result and suggested shape first.
During your appointment, we will begin with a restructuring and reshaping of your brows by establishing the proper shape based on your body type and natural brows. We will also perform a delicate exfoliation to remove any impurities, which will ensure better durability of the coloring. Once the appropriate color is chosen, we will apply the mixture to your eyebrows and remove it in stages to give you a flawless look! The result will be natural and immediate.
What are the benefits of Henna ?
Henna promotes hair growth and does not damage hair follicles. It slows down hair loss and envelops the hair cuticles with a protective layer. It provides beautiful color, instant shine & prevents premature breakage.
In addition to providing temporary color, henna is a natural exfoliant that tightens dilated pores. It cleanses the skin and helps regulate sebaceous secretions. Henna also helps to heal wounds because it protects the skin from infection and reduces inflammation. It has cooling properties that draw heat away from the skin making it very useful for sunburns. Finally, it includes antifungal and antibacterial properties used in traditional medicine to treat eczema, fungus and panic attacks.
“Freackling”, is the current trend
Freckles have become synonymous with naturalness and beauty. They remind us of summer and many decide to take the plunge and get them in semi-permanent makeup.
Did you know that you can achieve the same effect with henna? In fact, the coloring can be applied to your skin to recreate a temporary freckled look. It’s a no-brainer!
Dye vs Henna, what is the difference?
THE DURABILITY OF THE DYE
Regular dyeing lasts 1 to 2 days on the skin and up to 4 weeks on the hair. Henna dyeing will last from 1 to 2 weeks on the skin and up to 7 weeks on the hair.
THE INGREDIENTS
Dye is a chemical dye that must be mixed with hydrogen peroxide. Henna is a vegan dye that must be mixed with water.
THE EFFECTS
Dye can damage the hair follicles because it opens the hair cuticle to insert the color. Henna does not damage the hair follicles because it envelops and colors the hair cuticle.
